You Are Not Alone: What I Want Every Woman Experiencing Hardship to Know

To the woman who is struggling quietly, carrying more than anyone knows, I want you to hear this first:

You are not alone.

There are moments in life when everything can feel too heavy. The days where getting out of bed feels like a battle, where you question your choices, your strength, or whether things will ever feel better. You may be facing pain from a relationship, loss, trauma, financial pressure, family struggles, or challenges that others cannot see.

But your struggles do not define you.

The fact that you are still showing up in whatever way you can, that is strength. Sometimes strength does not look like having everything together. Sometimes strength looks like taking one small step forward when life feels impossible.

Many women carry invisible wounds. They smile while hurting, support others while feeling exhausted, and hide their struggles because they fear being judged or misunderstood. But needing support does not make you weak. Asking for help does not mean you have failed. Every person deserves kindness, safety, understanding, and the chance to begin again.

If you have experienced pain, remember this: what happened to you is part of your story, but it is not the whole story.

You are still worthy of love.
You are still worthy of respect.
You are still worthy of happiness.
You are still worthy of a future filled with hope.

Healing is not a straight path. Some days will feel easier than others. Some days you may feel like you have moved backwards, but even the smallest steps matter. Be gentle with yourself. Speak to yourself with the same compassion you would offer someone you love.

To the woman rebuilding after hardship: You will be ok,
keep going.

To the woman learning to trust herself again: You will be ok, keep going.

To the woman who feels lost:
You will be ok, keep going.

RiseupGirl is a space is for women who need reminding that they matter. A place where stories can be shared, struggles can be acknowledged, and hope can be found.

You are not alone. Your voice matters. Your story matters
